To practice content standards for History/Social Science students will participate in discussions and research projects on both historical and current events. Students will then formalize and promote their thoughts and opinions regarding these events through the writing of evidence supported editorials. Topics will include:

• Responses to historical figures and events.

• Responses to social and political movements.

• Advocacy for social justice and human rights.

• Analysis of civics, law, and policy.

• Informative reports on public opinion of current, hot topic issues.
