Halloween Night

In the heat of the night, when shadows creep, 

whispers of secrets through the moonlight leap. 

Pumpkins are glowing,  their grins carved wide, 

while ghouls and ghosts take the world for a ride.

Leaves crunch beneath feet, a crisp autumn sound, 

as creatures of mischief dance all around. 

Cobwebs adorn every corner and eave, 

a tapestry woven of tales that deceive.

Bats flit above in the cold, starry skies, 

while witches concoct their potions and lies. T

he howl of a wolf breaks the silence in twain, 

as laughter and fright mingle, a sweet, eerie strain

So gather your courage, embrace the unknown, 

for Halloween night, the magic has grown. 

With spirits set free and the veil drawn so thin, 

let the wonders of night draw you deeper within.
