Ms. Rogowski and our Lincoln Hornets, Lizette Pierce and Yessenia Sandoval, participate in a news story about their Friendship Bracelet classroom project in conjunction with schools in Tijuana!  Lincoln Hornets know how to rep The Hive!

Miss Jessi’s Drawing/Painting class last year participated in a collaborative, binational art project along with other SDUSD students. Our Lincoln students created paintings that represented friendship that later became interwoven with paintings from students across the border in Tijuana. All together, we created a giant friendship bracelet. “Friendship Bracelet” is on display at Balboa Park in front of the San Diego Museum of Art this Tuesday as a part of the World Design Conference. Lizette Pierce and Yessenia Sandoval were featured on the news to talk about the artwork installation and their experience making the artwork in class.
